Delicate
Turns on it’s heels to pose
As a porcelain dancer
Then pirouettes under your leading hand
Delicate
Floats through the summer sky
Upon the breeze
Following your command
And then I with hands of callous
Blossoms and cocoon under feet
And then I with drought and fever
Fainted in a desert heat
And then I
And then I so lost, so incomplete
Now delicate under your leading hand
Delicate
Hangs in the silver light
A ceramic puppet
And takes a bow to answer your curtain call
And then I in stumbling darkness
Bending from the weight of heavy stones
And then I with leaded graces
Lifted by a string and bone
And then I
And then I so gone so all alone
Now delicate under your leading hand
